How I Built a Home That Works for Me
After much research, I opted for a ceiling fan with light Singapore style that fits my minimalist aesthetic. It offers the perfect balance of functionality and form. I love that it provides overhead lighting and airflow in one compact fixture, and it matches beautifully with my white ceiling design.
To create mood lighting, I installed magnetic track lights in the hallway and above the bookshelf. The modular design means I can reposition each light head depending on what I want to highlight. It’s versatile and gives the home a high-end, boutique feel with very little effort.
I decided to future-proof my work area with a power track system. It gives me the flexibility to move sockets as my workspace evolves—ideal for powering my laptop, printer, or even a ring light for calls. I no longer worry about cluttered extension cords or inaccessible plug points.
I also added an acorn fan to my study room. It's not just stylish—it runs silently and keeps the room cool all day long. The blade design is efficient and distributes air evenly. It’s one of the best investments I’ve made for improving productivity and comfort.
